The Experience Collection

“We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us.” ~ Robyn Yong

The unique. The unexpected. The “you’ll never believe what we did/saw/tasted….experienced.”  It’s the stuff great memories and stories are made of, and is what separates a person who merely travels from an honest-to-goodness traveler.

It is that deliberate focus on experience and enrichment, especially for the most discerning, that is the driving force behind why people travel and what they look for when they are deciding where to go next. We also realize that time is your most precious non-renewable resource, never more precious than when you vacation, so it is essential to spend it wisely. With this mind, we are launching Town & Country Travel’s exclusive Experience Collection program, geared entirely towards proactively helping our clients achieve their travel goals.

The Town & Country Travel Experience Collection

If you are a true traveler, you are by default, an experience collector. In the spirit of this movement towards memory-making and not just “box checking”, Town & Country is pleased to offer our Experience Collection advising program, now available exclusively for our new and existing clients. It is a reinvention of the generic “some day I would like to…” bucket list, and is focused entirely on helping our clients achieve their travel goals in a more focused and enriching way.

The Experience Collection is custom made for you following a consultation appointment with a Town & Country travel advisor where she will:

  • go beyond what is on your existing “bucket list” to gain deeper insights into your likes, dislikes, and those destinations that call to you. And if you don’t have one, she will help you make one!
  • help you prioritize your “some day” list by factoring in your age, general health, general travel funds, vacation time, and future milestones (ie birthdays, retirement, anniversaries etc)
  • notify you when there are special offers and opportunities with our partners most relevant to your Experience Collection
  • help you track and modify your growing collection

The result will be a plan that will help you achieve your travel goals, while also giving us a framework to design your journeys with special moments that will stay with you long after you’re home and unpacked. A few examples:

  •  Your retirement is in two years. Allow us to arrange a celebration everyone in your multi-gen family will love. Perhaps a chartered yacht in the Caribbean, or maybe a dude ranch retreat over Christmas complete with a reindeer sleigh ride?
  • We’ve learned you are passionate about the theater and ballet. We might arrange access for you to go behind the stage at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow while the dancers are preparing
  • You’re a goal setter and love accomplishment. Have you considered hiking the Camino de Santiago – but in comfort and style in a fraction of the time?
  • You’re a budding photographer. Allow us to introduce you to unique places to view wildlife, landscapes, and exotic cultures to take your passion to the next level.
  • Why is Turkey on your bucket list? Because you’ve always dreamed of riding in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia. And come to think of it, you’d really love to visit everywhere exotic that offers hot air balloon rides.
